- Assisting to implement and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- The goal is to help create and maintain a positive working connection between employer and employee.
- Creating programs to address employees' economic, psychological, and social requirements while retaining productive employees
- Ensuring compliance with workplace regulations (such as human rights, employment fairness, occupational health and safety, employment standards, and labour relations legislation). To assist the organization in its goals
- To supply well-trained and motivated personnel

The above mentioned HRM objectives can be categorized in to four main objectives
1) Societal Objectives: Ensure that the organization is socially responsible to the society's requirements and difficulties while reducing the organization's negative influence. Non-socially beneficial organizations may face constraints.
2) Organizational Objectives: HRM plays a vital role in achieving organizational objectives. It ensures that HRM is not a solitary department, but rather a tool to help the organization achieve its goals. HR exists to help the organization.
3) Functional Objectives: Preserve the department's contribution to the organization. Human resources must adapt to the organization's needs. The department's value should not outweigh the organization's.
4) Personnel Objectives: To support employees in achieving personal goals that enhance their contribution to the organization. Personal goals of employees must be met to keep them motivated.
